THE SOUTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS (SCANP) is the professional association of Naturopathic Physicians in South Carolina.

OUR MEMBERS are graduates of accredited four-year, graduate level, in-residence naturopathic medical programs.  While South Carolina does not license this specialized field of primary-care medicine, all of our professional members maintain a license as a Naturopathic Physician in at least one of the many licensed states.

LICENSED NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS (BOARD CERTIFIED ND’s) are the nation’s leading experts in integrative natural medicine and natural healthcare.  In states that regulate naturopathic medicine, naturopathic physicians serve both as family physicians and specialists in natural medicine.  They are recognized as primary care providers by insurance companies and serve as general practitioners for families.

IF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE IS NEW TO YOU, please begin to get involved and learn more.  Our practitioners are frequent expert guests on the Dr. Oz show.  Natural Medicine expert and best-selling author, Dr. Andrew Weil, MD is a frequent advocate for licensing Naturopathic Medicine.  If you keep your eye out, you will begin to notice our efforts to improve healthcare in South Carolina and the United States.
